Playing with the site again
20060704
I am playing with the website again, doing some changes... OK... its a total revamp... Again... But I got bored with the old design and had to do something about it.

Anyway, still looking for my holy grail, "Il était une fois... l'espace".

Back to Basic
20060128
For those who care, but havent heard yet, me and my wife
are now back in Sweden. Yay!

On another note, I am looking for an 80's cartoon classic published by Procidis. Its called...

(UK) Once Upon a Time... Space
(FR) Il était une fois... l'espace
(SE) Det var en gång... rymden

If you know where I can find this old cartoon with English or Swedish subtitles or audio tracks, please notify me through hultberg(at)hotmail.com

Thank you!

Visit to the gardens
20050724
My wife and I visited the botanical gardens in Montreal yesterday. It was lovely weather and actually a quite interesting tour. We also took the time to stop by the Olympic Tower, a quite impressive building. We took a few pictures, one of me taken by my wife can be seen here. Some of you might have noticed that the site was down for a week or so, that was due to an unpaid bill and problems with internet banking. Its not a perfect world after all!

Aside from that, there is not much new. I am still looking for "Il était une fois... l'espace", preferably in English. A friend of mine had called the French publisher and asked around. The scuttle butt was that there was an new English AND a Swedish version in the works. We can always hope, eh?

I stopped by, poked around and left again...

Visit to New York
20050417
I just got back from my first visit to New York. In short, it is a very impressive city. I only got to see Manhattan though, and parts of the outskirts as the bus drove through. By far, the most impressive sight was Ground Zero, where the World Trade Center once stood. The calm and serenity of the area was such a sharp contrast to the otherwise hectic and fast-paced Manhattan. The plaques with the names of the dead also did its fair share to put things into perspective...

Hints for the New York tourist to be:
1. If you want to save cash stay at a YMCA. Its cheap, central & a decent standard.
2. Get subway passes, its a big city to just walk around in!
3. Security is tight, dont even TRY to bring a Swiss army knife with you...
4. Bring a guide book, I recommend Lonely Planets "New York City"
5. Bring a camera, lots of stuff to photograph!

More pictures in the photo album on the family site.
